Unfortunately this is one of the few large store for all household and building materials needs. Despite their poor customer service and unfriendly return policies, I find the store useful to find what I need in last minute needs.
The prices are semi reasonable, but I found out that I can order similar items thru Amazon.de and have it delivered to my door sometimes for half the price...saving me at least a whole day of driving 50km RT and looking for what I need in their shelves for another 1-2 hours
So in conclusion, I always check what's available online before I head out to Baumax. I have better return policies and much more convenient shipping.
In the pictures below , I used several items such as LED light bulbs, light fixtures, electrical wires, etc to build my kitchen lights,

Great selection of almost… everything, and prices that are absolutely down-to-earth. This place is the closest you can get to an American “Home Depot” superstore in Bohemia, and probably in this entire region between Czechia and Austria.

It's like the store has 2 employees. Waiting times around 30 minutes, to get any sort of assistance. Can't recommend
