I did not get a chance to experience neither the hotel nor the restaurant, but I definitely experienced the rude and unwelcoming reception staff.
Me & my partner were visiting Luhacovice and wanted to have an aperitif or dinner in the hotel bar or restaurant.
The lady at the reception told us their hotel bar is closed (there were people sitting inside and having a drink at that exact moment). We then asked about a possibility to have a dinner in the restaurant. She told us that 'probably there are many reservations for that evening and those were done well in advance, so it is not possible'. She did not check any records nor called the restaurant. She made an assumption, and that was it. When I questioned some of her statements, she found some more excuses, and continued ignoring us with a bored face.
I heard a lot about the hotel and wanted to visit and have a nice evening during our short trip in the area (we live in Switzerland, but come from Moravia and visit Czech rep max twice a year). This experience, however, made me not interested in the hotel and its services anymore.
It also reminded me of one of the reasons why I left this country = annoyed people with zero customer service, who know nothing about you, wearing a uniform which apparently puts themselves into a superior position to have the right to decide that you are not welcome.

Another great relaxing stay, any time of the year (although regulars here), bar the few years during Covid 19.|| Exquisitely, designed exterior extensions. Excellent way to bring in Silvester- (The New Year) Always look forward to this occasion which is well themed. A few new staff that is not as experienced as previous staff before (which is expected after COVID 19)., but will however I'm sure will gain much experience in having the privilege in working in such a Magnificent hotel. ||Keep up the good work. Hats off to every one there especially the Chefs for their preparations, presentations and innovative ideas especially desert choices.

I went to Luhacovice in East Moravia to participate in a seminar held in this hotel on the development of a tourism brand strategy for the region. It's the fourth time I have been to Moravia over the last six years for work and definitely the best hotel I have stayed in is this one. For me it perfectly captures the heritage, the culture, the architecture and the best of customer service in the region. The manager of the hotel, Petr Borak, was both a positive and active participant in the seminar and a great host for the event and my stay. His family own the hotel which used to be an Augustinian Priory. The architecture, the ambience, the spa facilities and the decor and the feel of the hotel , the food and the wine are all authentic Moravia. It's a truly immersive authentic experience; a really authentic brand that delivers on its offer.

In April we paid our second visit to the Symfonie restaurant. On the previous occasion the meal and service had been outstanding, and we were looking forward to our return.||||While by Czech standards the prices are high, given the excellent quality of the service, value for money of the set dinner menu is actually very good. The composition of the menu, the presentation and taste of the food are outstanding. However, there was one conspicuous faux pas which was, by any standards, inadmissible. We live quite locally, I had to drive 25km home afterwards and and could not freely order a bottle from the wine list. My wife's glass of house red was simply terrible. It was also served straight from the fridge. To add insult to injury, 2dcl set us back CZK200. ||||We are prepared to give the restaurant one more chance, but any repetition and that will be it. These days there is real competition in Luhačovice and Zlín, and the restaurant and hotel management will know that shoddiness of this kind is unacceptable.

Our favourite place so far in Czech. The hotel is quiet, relaxed and friendly. The spa facility is very good, as is the food. We have been here for the last few years and always leave feeling great!

The stay at the Hotel Augustiniansky in Luhacovice was once again a magnificent experience, only slightly overshadowed by the surprise of not finding the excellent Waiter Mihal (who moved to Prague) and despite the lavishness of the excellent Waiters left, in particular Tomas and Filip The fact is that the new entrances, all very young girls, sometimes did not seem to live up to the tradition of the Hotel: we were surprised by answers such as: 'I don't think I can prepare a fresh orange juice’ or ‘there is no cup of broth'. However, we are sure that the Management will provide. The Reception was cordial and irreproachable; in particular the adorable Marcela has really pampered us. The Room has always been very clean and tidy, full of accessories. In the Restaurant we have enjoyed the food, always very tasty and well prepared. In the Spa we still recommend the excellent Katka. which massages effectively with ‘golden hands’. The New Year's Eve dinner saw a rich and varied buffet, a really pleasant entertainment, with a very elegant show of dancers and finally with exceptional fireworks as always.||Finally, we want to thank the Management for the welcome: we will be back!

This is probably the best place in CZ where you can stay. Very luxorious hotel with very kind staff and awesome service! The wellness zone is beautiful and there are special hours appointed to children so you can really relax there without any intrusions. And the food! It’s delicious and the restaurant is very nice. Also the lobby bar by the reception is nice with a good offer of alcoholic drinks and cocktails. We love the garden as well. We just love it all! It is The best!

We once again spent a few days at the Augustiniansky Dum for the end of the year 2018 / New Year 2019 and then again in January 2019.||We found, as always, an ideal atmosphere, all very kind and helpful staff, from the Reception to the Restaurant, from the Spa to the Cleaning Staff (always very correct). To say that it is a paradise is not to exaggerate, it is the truth. We would like to thank Marcela and Michaela S. in particular in Reception, Michal, Tomas and Lukas at the Restaurant, Katka at the Spa, but the others were all precious too. The setting for the New Year's evening was very nice, with a sumptuous buffet and magnificent fireworks; the magic of snow was missing, but it arrived in mid-January.||At the Spa you feel pampered.||The structure of the property (very well preserved) harmonizes well with the enviroment and stand out for originally and elegance.||Even the park is magnificent. ||Inevitably we will come back!
