The last time I was there was 2018. Then this weekend. The trails are still nice, well maintained, but the signs along the tracks would need fixing. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food we had was nice as well. The biggest change after all those years are the e-bikes. It looked like we were almost the only ones there having oldschool bikes. And to be honest, this was very disturbing, I did not like it at all, we constantly had to stop and move aside to let them go. Especially during the climb, but even during the normal ride, it was super annoying.

I enjoyed my adventurous weekend at this place. People were nice and friendly. One thing important for me as a foreigner is to communicate in English. I stayed here overnight and it cost me 50czk for the car, 50czk for the Tent and 50czk for the person. The food was amazing and affordable. For the men's toilet, there are 2 urinals and 1 toilet bowl. For the showers, They have 3 showers with hot water, but you need to have a token to operate and it costs 50 czk per token.

For the trails, I only accomplished the trails in Czech side and it was a long trail, but I enjoyed it. I will definitely come back next time to try the trails in Poland side.

Here's the edited version of your review:

As a tourist, planning a day trip ride isn't always easy. I was fortunate to hear about Smrkem's shop, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. After a quick exchange of messages with Tomas (the shop owner, I assume), who was responsive and welcoming, I rented a car at the airport and headed out.

The journey was longer than expected, and after three hours of driving (back was less then 2h I guess it was a nav app issue), I encountered a roadblock. At that point, I contemplated turning back, but I'm thrilled that I decided to press on. It was a Wednesday afternoon, and the lady in the shop was wonderfully warm and efficient. Despite the language barrier, her charm made up for it. I had all the necessary gear, equipment, and instructions within minutes.

Regarding the bike, I received a full-suspension Rock Machine model in excellent condition with a dropper and an aggressive setup. It may have been a bit overkill, but I preferred it over the alternatives. The only issue was that there was no place for a water bottle after I installed a cage. I ended up putting my soda from the store there, but it was lost after a few minutes of riding.Additionally, I wasn't sure how prepared I would be for a flat tire situation since no repair kit was supplied.

As for the trails, they were a thing of beauty. I got exactly what I came for. While it might not be the Alps, the area boasts green, flowy trails that are well-constructed and well-signed. There are many wooden bridges to maintain the flow, and you can truly appreciate the hard work put into these trails. Just remember to grab a map, as it will open up more options. In my experience, I added some extra trails on the go, although I did encounter a slight issue at a specific crossroads where the trail signs weren't very clear.

In terms of facilities, the shop is well-maintained, and I ended up buying some additional items. They also offer a paid shower service, which came in handy. The campsite is beautiful, with a lake and lush greenery.

All in all, it's an excellent destination for mountain biking, and I hope to return for a longer stay to explore the entire area.

There is no way you can't fall in love with the trail system over here. And hangout by the lake for an after ride beer or some simple food.

No matter if you bring your kids, your Trail dog or your riding buddies: As long as they are fine pedaling easy uphills they will have a great time.

This is not your full face darth vader style downhill park but you can bring your wife and she won't be disappointed or scared...

Friendly team working there, everything is well maintained (it takes a lot of work to do that!) and the place is best in Europe in regards to the tracks if you like forest treks. Thanks for the memories!

Great customer service! Special place with cool stuff. Also enjoyed very nice bike trails. The signs on the trails could be more visible or at least to have the bike app. Anyway amazing experience!

Everyone is judging restaurant & surroundings, but I want to write something about Trek rental. The service is awful, they don't take cards, even you have to pay bigger amounts of money. If you are renting for more days, you have to return the bike every day - this can be really annoying, because this place is busy and you have to wait for long time sometimes.

i have been here for two days. The tracks are in the best shape possible.
- most tracks are very flat or/and have a significant uphill part
- it would be
- the accessibility of the trail through fire roads is good
- Enduro riders looking for a signicant downhill track and challenging tracks won't get what they are looking for
