I was very disappointed with the lunch, service and food. The waitress was very unpleasant. The food was served and no one came back to the table until we were done. My risotto lacked flavor and wasn't fully cooked. Tasted terrible. The prawns had a horrible texture and smelt very fishy, no flavor.
However, my appetizer was great (beef tartar). My children had spaghetti which they enjoyed. The portions for spaghetti were very small and my son was still hungry.
My biggest issue was food was served and then no one came. We sat there and no one came back to ask how the meal was. That is what upset me the most, otherwise I wouldn't have been so pissed off!

Very nice hotel in a very charming spa city. We really enjoy our stay. Stuff is very nice. Breakfast is very good. In good weather you can even sit on the terase. Good location. The best thing is spa. There is hot water in jacuzzies. It is not overcrowded so you really can enjoy. The only minus is higher price for parking. French restaurant we haven't tried.

Looking for a hotel with a spa in a spa town is logic...and it has a great spa, with everything: pool, jakuzi, sauna, steambath, relaxing area in a wonderful setup. The whole decor, including in the rooms, refers to the 30's, as the architectural landmarks of Luhacovice. I had a standard room..which means luxury furniture, top bed, rich decor and great bathroom..but in the new building and windows facing the backside. If you want to be the original building, it is a bit more expensive..but less quite since the hotel is located on the side of the main road. The staff is super professional, at the level you would expect for such a structure. Breakfast is a great buffet, with top and tasty products, and table with white table clothes..what else ? the bill...quite high for the Czech Republic standard but worth the effort. No parking directly at the hotel but an agreement with a public one. Finally, the French restaurant in the same hotel is great (see separated entry).

This is now the second time we spent a week in this hotel and can only recommend it. The staff is very friendly, the wellness is excellent and quiet and the town of Luhacovice is a great place to unwind.

Only point for improvement for the room is to have more electricity plugs next to the bed. In the time where everyone has a smartphone and a notebook, having no electricity plugs next to the bed (unless you crawl under the beside table and unplug the night lamp) is not sufficient anymore.

Centrally located in the middle of town, but can be easily missed when following GPS. Parking garage is up a short hill - need a pass card to access. Challenging for hauling luggage but the car is safely secured. Ask for a room facing the back, its quieter - mine was backside of the front building fourth floor - It was wonderful!||Excellent buffet breakfast. many options. ||Pool and spa are divine! I basically spent an entire day there. I also scheduled all spa services well in advance. Outdoor lounge chairs should be updated. They don't open correctly or stay level. The supplied spa tote with towels is greatly appreciated.||Thank you for the wonderful fruit plate!!!||Only downside is checkout is at 10am!!! So you really have to hustle in the morning. Mind you, I did have an appointment on the morning of check out and was pressed for time, but I could've used an extra 30 minutes.

We received a wellness voucher from our dear friends and really enjoyed what the wellness &spa had to offer.

We started at the private section (cheese, champagne, jacuzzi and a spa) which was very romantic and it got us relaxed and then we joined the public section (5 different spas, whirlpool, pool, bar and relax area)

We loved it.

Just got back yesterday from our "wellness" break at the Hotel Alexandria in Luhacovice. This really is an excellent hotel and town to unwind and relax in. More or less everything about the hotel is high standard; cleanliness, condition of the rooms and the facilities in general. The staff are trained to exactly the right blend of professionalism and friendliness. The spa area of the hotel is again spotless and well organized, nice pool plus massages, treatments, sun terrace etc. included in our package. ||Luhacovice itself is like a pleasant step back in time with gentle walks in the spa grounds, cafes, a variety of "easy on the ear" entertainment and of course "taking the waters" . ||So a very enjoyable stay , just a couple of words of warning. Our room was at the front of the "old" part of the hotel with a big balcony and great view. However, immediately below is the main road through the town. Early morning traffic including lorries can be noisy so either go for a room in the " new" part of the hotel or sleep with the balcony doors and windows closed.||The other thing I wanted to mention is the food. It is very good quality and tasty especially the breakfasts but at then end of the day this is a spa so if you can't exist without mountains of chips and fried food then this probably isn't the place for you. The emphasis is on quality not quantity. ||||So, if you'd to try the Czech ( Moravian actually) spa experience then you could do a lot worse than book yourself in for a few days at the Alexandria.
