To be very honest, I would not go to eat there at the first glance. It looks like nothing special restaurant nearby the gas station, but I couldn’t be more wrong.
I was impressed since the very first second I entered it: great service, it looks nice from inside and the food is fantastic….and all this reasonably priced.
I would highly recommend every time to everyone.

Dont know about the hotel But the fooood!!! Oh my god! The Koleno was beyond words! A must have when in Zlin!

We returned to the restaurant after a couple of years' hiatus and are thoroughly satisfied. The food was outstanding, we were seated outside and the staff was very competent and pleasant.
Not cheap by any means, but the high quality of the food, service and atmosphere of the place more than make up for it.
I will be glad to return and I recommend it very much.
Plenty of parking on site and there is a bus stop just behind.

Nice surprise. Very good, (mostly) Czech cuisine and they offer some lighter meals as well. The service was very pleasant and accommodating. This is not a place to get quick meal, it will take you a good hour and it's definitely worth the time.

Food is the best I have had in my trip in Czech and the waiters were very polite and professional. The menu had pictures to help describe what the dish is which I have ever seen before. If you decide to sit outside you will be greeted with beautiful scenery. Overall a great restraunt. Highly recommended.

The best restaurant of traditional Czech cuisine in the city of Zlin! Beautiful atmosphere and nice service. There is nice garden if you want to eat near a breath of fresh air in the summer. You can drink an excellent no filtered beer and taste the awesome grilled pork knee, but be prepared, only a warrior soul can eat more than 1kg of meat! Very recommend!

This review relates to a meal in the restaurant in July 2022.

After a number of visits over the years, our first visit since before the pandemic was a great disappointment. On a weekday lunchtime the service was slow and inefficient- we waited 50 minutes for our meal, the daily special, to be delivered. The meal, salmon in a dill sauce, was bland and nothing we could not cook ourselves at home, while both the food and drinks were overpriced.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days on a work trip.....||||so here's my experience.......its a great reasonably price Hotel, and the restaurant food is lovely...||||The hotel is very well maintained and the rooms decorated nicely, with lots of Czech wooden furniture.....and the staff are amazing, even though they hardly speak English. What struck me is the will to go out of their way to help you.||||I had an very early train back to Prague on Saturday, and I asked if they can prepare a packed breakfast.....and they did, but the attention to detail was impressive.....I had stayed at another hotel (4 stars upwards) in Zlin some two months ago, and asked for the same thing, but the packed breakfast was quick, cheap and not well made. So when I got this breakfast from U Johanna, I was very happy to see that they care for their customer till the last minute.||||Keep it up U Johanna!!
