Incredible Castle / Chateau with beautiful manicure front courtyard with a lily fountain. Grape vines grow on the back part of the complex.
Classicist chateau of French style built the members of the noble family of Salm in the years 1763-1769 according to the plans of French architect Isidor Amando Canavela.

The interiors of the castle exel especially collection of oriental porcelain and prints, a collection of crystal goblets from the Mannerism period, a large part created by the brothers Ambrosius and Octavia Miseroniho working at the Prague court of Emperor Rudolf II.

A library with over 60,000 volumes in eleven languages is one of the largest castle libraries in the Czech Republic.

Chateau interiors complement the paintings of Western European, Dutch and Flemish masters coming from the collecting activity Salm family. The founder of the famous picture gallery Salmovska was the founder of the chateau starohrabě Anton Karl Josef Salm

Very nice manor house. The guided tours are offered in Czech language only. It would be great if they not just tell who owned the house and when, but also how this person or family impacted society. There are about 60 000 books in the large three-room library, but there is no mention as to why, and how the owner back then collected these.

Furtive chateau, hidden in Rajec nad Svitavou, surrounded by hills and trees. guided tour is recommended to see interior premises of this place. I think it's also good to visit local gallery at the same place - different types of art at one place, maybe just see or buy some paintinigs, aromatic candles etc..quite interesting store.
The gardens around are not really huge, but might be good places to spend some time as well.

We visited only the second tour - Private and guest apartments and treasury (because for the first one we would have to wait over an hour) and we liked it. The chateau and its park are lovely, and there is so much to do 🙂 The parking is free, and it is in front of the chateau, but there are not many places, so it is better to come in the morning.

Large Manor House with gardens and a beautiful pond in the centre. They only do tours and in Czech language though there are English information as well

I was really surprised by this small castle (manor?). Exterior needs some repairs, but interior was really beautiful. If you will have way around, I suppose you should definitely visit this place.
